Types of
Readings
Astrology
Astrology is the art of reading the stars and the
influence they have over us and our lives. The horoscope is chart that
represents the location of the stars, moons, and planets at the precise
moment of your birth. That is why this type of horoscope is known as the
birth chart or the natal chart. A correct interpretation of these birth
positions exposes much about you. While you always have free will, the
horoscope reflects the natural inclinations you have, the lessons you have
to learn, the issues to be faced, and the problems to be solved. It may be
thought of as an abstract formula showing the energies you've been given, or
perhaps tasked with. Astrology can provide incredible keys to understanding,
but it doesn't necessarily provide clear and simplistic answers to any
problems. More likely, obtaining information from your horoscope will give
you insights and understanding of the reasons why you behave as you do.
Automatic Writing
Automatic writing is what happens when a person
"gets themselves out of the way" and lets spirit use their hands to write or
type. The writer's hand forms the message, and the person is unaware
of what will be written. In essence a person works as
a medium or a channel to bring through information directly from spirit
through writing.
Channeling
Channeling is the simple act of allowing a spirit
to flow information through you to another. It can be as simple as saying
something and then wondering, "where did that come from?" to as advanced as
allowing the spirit of another to take over your body to bring through
messages.
Chinese I Ching
The I Ching, which is more than 3000 years old and based in
Confucianism, is one of the oldest forms of divination in the world.
It is by far the most popular spiritual resource and oracle in Asia, and has
a growing following in Europe. Reading the I Ching
involves casting coins or yarrow stalks to build a series of 6 lines called
a "hexagram". Each line is either Yin (the passive or feminine force) or
Yang (the active or masculine force). The resulting hexagram is then looked
up in the I Ching itself, to yield a passage describing what each of the 6
lines means. There are 64 possible hexagrams, each of which can be further
broken down into groups of 3 lines called "trigrams". One of the most
fascinating aspects of I Ching readings is that each line in the present
hexagram may be old, indicating that it is about to change from Yin to Yang
or vice versa - by inverting each of these changing lines, we can generate a
hexagram depicting the immediate future.
Clairaudience
Clairaudience means "clear hearing."
Clairaudience is the ability to hear things not audible within normal
hearing ranges. This is an example of extra-sensory perception (ESP). It
includes the audible perceptions of ghosts, spirits, and others within the
astral realm. Generally speaking, when someone is
gifted in "clairaudience" it means then can hear instructions from Spirit.
Clairessence
Clairessence means "clear scent". Clairessence is
the ability to smell things not technically present at that time. For
instance, sometimes you will smell a person's perfume even though they
aren't in the room, or you smell cigarette smoke even if no one is smoking.
These scents can be signals from spirit that they are present. Clairessence
can also be used to detect illness. For instance, dogs are particularly
well-known for being able to smell disease in humans.
Clairvoyance
Clairvoyance means "clear sight." Clairvoyance is
the ability to see literally see pictures or impressions from spirit which
are not normally perceptible to humans. The term clairvoyance is often used
broadly to relate to all forms of ESP (extra sensory perception), where a
person receives information through means not readily understood.
Mediumship
A Medium is exactly what it sounds like it is: It
is someone who acts as a go-between for spirit. Anyone who does clairvoyance
or clairaudience is in someway a medium or a go-between.
Numerology
Numerology is the study of numbers and what those
numbers mean regarding the cosmic plan. Each letter has a numeric value that
provides a related vibration. The sum of the numbers in your birth date and
the sum of value derived from the letters in your name provide an
interrelation of vibrations. These numbers show a great deal about
character, purpose in life, what motivates, and where talents may lie.
Experts in numerology use the numbers to determine the things like the best
time for major moves, when to invest, when to marry, when to travel, when to
change jobs, or when to relocate.
Palmistry
Your palms are circuit diagrams that tell a lot
about you. Palmistry is the study of the lines and signs of the
hands. Your palm print is the blueprint of your life. It tells everything
about you - past, present, future - health - and more. Everything on your
palm means something even the nails and color tones of the skin. Palmistry
is the interpretation of those indicators.
Psychometry
Psychometry is the ability to read the history of certain objects by
holding the object in your hand or placing it to your forehead. Usually
small personal objects such as a watch, ring, key or other personal objects
are the best. The readers picks up vibrations from the object to glean
information about the object and/or its keeper.
Tarot Cards
While no one knows the exact history of tarot
cards, they are believed to be a highly-evolved spiritual tool that
originated in ancient Atlantis and was brought to Egypt where they were
stored in the libraries of Alexandria. The cards themselves gave directives
to "take them to the four corners" before the libraries were burned, saving
them and their lessons for posterity. The tarot cards hold within them them
the symbolic truths of life based on the lessons of the ancient mystical
Kabbalah (the lessons of the ancient Jewish Mystics for creating joy, love,
health, and prosperity). Because they hold within them them the symbolic
truths of life, they glean tremendous power to connect with the divine grace
of God for guidance. |
